An East Devon restaurant has been named in the top 20 UK restaurants outside London.
Glebe House, in Colyton, made the list put together by independent restaurant guide, SquareMeal.
SquareMeal’s UK Top 100 is the only list of its kind to exclude London’s restaurants - allowing the wider UK’s dining scene to truly shine.
And Glebe House, set in 15 acres of countryside, made the list at number 20.
The list was put together using thousands of reader votes and SquareMeal’s own critics, which the guide says gives a true reflection of Britain’s varied dining scene.
The guide said of Glebe House: "Found in a charming guesthouse amid 15 acres of East Devon countryside, the restaurant at Glebe House is one of the south west’s best spots to indulge in some top-quality British cookery with an Italian influence."
Somerset restaurant Osip came out on top as the UK’s best restaurant.
The tiny farm-to-table gem is in the village of Bruton and is owned by ex-head chef of London favourites Portland and Clipstone, Merlin Labron-Johnson.
The 22-cover restaurant is housed in a charming stone building which used to be the village ironmonger and brings top-quality cooking to this idyllic rural spot.
Chef founder of Osip, Merlin Labron-Johnson, said: "It's a huge honour to be awarded No1 in SquareMeal's top 100 UK restaurants.
"I’m so grateful to my team, and the amazing local suppliers we work with who have been so integral to achieving this accolade.
"I’m really proud that this has been voted for by genuine, passionate people who love what we’re doing at Osip, so it truly does mean a lot."
The top three UK restaurants included Ynyshir in Powys and Pensons in Herefordshire.
Similarly, Scotland and Northern Ireland’s list included powerhouses like Inver and The Muddlers Club being featured.
SquareMeal’s head of content, Caroline Hendry, said: "A huge congratulations to all 100 restaurants, and in particular to our winner Osip, who absolutely blew us away with their menu, their work ethic and their celebration of local suppliers.
"While some institutions have remained in the Top 100, lots of newcomers have also risen up the ranks since we last ran the awards.
"A wonderful accolade for each new restaurant that has launched in such a trying couple of years for hospitality."
