Last Month was a busy month for Seaton Martial Arts Centre’s American Kenpo Self Defence and the Success for Life Children classes.

Several gradings were held for each of the childrens groups Minis (4-6 year olds), Mighty’s (7-9 years old), Majors (10-12) and Cadets (13-16) as well as gradings for the adults of whom several are parents with children also training.

Examinations were overseen by external examiners both in Exeter for the Adults and at the Martial Arts Centre in Scalwell Lane for the children.

The standard and skills shown were commented on to be worthy of being showcased anywhere in the world not just the UK. All the students worked hard for their new belts adults and children alike, showing that Martial Arts is not just about kicking and punching but development of oneself, confidence, discipline, integrity,Perserverance, teamwork, dedication and not least of all communication and friendship.

Their Instructors; Mr Amrik Singh 4th Dan Black Belt, Mr Matt Palmer Black Belt (Sho Dan) and Mrs Aurora Singh Green Belt, would like to offer their congratulations to the students for making the instructors so proud with the way they collectively perform and work hard in all aspects of their training.
