Honiton Running Club members tackled the challenging Drogo 10 race.
The 10-mile off-road race, based at Castle Drogo, took place on Sunday, November 10.
The race, which features a 1,760 ft total climb, sees runners cross the River Teign and tackle two steep hills before ascending the difficult Hunters’ Path.
The weather was reportedly "reasonably warm and dry" with "much drier" conditions underfoot than usual.
The race was won by Ceri Rees in one hour and one minute.
For the Honiton Running Club, Johnny Bennett was the first to finish, coming 98th in one hour and 25 minutes.
Mark Newson followed, placing 145th in one hour and 30 minutes.
Howard Bidmead and Will Davis finished in 178th and 185th places, respectively.
Judy Davey was the first lady back for the club, finishing in one hour and 36 minutes, placing 190th overall.
She was followed by Mark Dallyn, who finished six places and one minute later.
Steve Davey came 213th in one hour and 39 minutes, with Rebecca Stevens finishing four places and 16 seconds later.
Richard Harris and Paula Ferris, who have been injured and out of races for some time, finished 246th and 270th, respectively.
Pippa Westall rounded off Honiton's participants, placing 306th in one hour and 50 minutes.
There were a total of 445 finishers.
Entry fees raised from the event will go to the National Trust to help with the upkeep of Castle Drogo.
