Budleigh Bowls Club faced off against six Masonic bowlers in a Mixed Triples match, last Saturday.
The Masonic bowlers, representing various clubs, visit Budleigh annually for this event.
The match consisted of 16 Ends.
John Sheppard led the Budleigh team, which included Nic Jones and Gwen Hurst.
At halftime, they were narrowly ahead with a score of 6 shots to 4.
However, the Masonic bowlers rallied in the second half, resulting in a draw of 12:12 on Rink 2.
On Rink 1, Budleigh's Jackey Phillips, Ann Vincent, and John Dill maintained their lead and won 18:8, bringing Budleigh's overall score to 30:12.
After the match, John Sheppard said: "These social games are at the heart of the Club and it was a pleasure to host such a friendly group of players. "We look forward to playing them again when we move to the Outdoor Green in 2025."
