Larry Goodliffe and Jim Wallis scored 46 points in Honiton Golf Club's Seniors 4BBB Pairs Stableford last Friday.
The victory came against stiff competition of 65 entries.
David Goldring and Neil Price followed closely, bagging 44 points to secure second place, leaving Peter Clarke and David de Klerk to settle for third on countback with 42 points.
Both Alan Pollock and Larry Goodliffe achieved qualifying twos on the second hole, earning 12 balls each.
The day was filled with sociability, with the clubhouse abuzz with friendly banter pre and post-competition.
Looking ahead, next Friday will see golfers undertake a Reverse Bowmaker competition.
In other news, Honiton Golf Club experienced a 5-1 defeat in a friendly fixture against Cricket St Thomas, who weathered the challenging wind conditions better.
This coming week will see two home matches against Lyme Regis and East Devon.
