Lyme Regis is set to host a festival of sea rowing featuring 16 top teams.
The Lyme Regis Gig Club Regatta, taking place on Monmouth Beach on Saturday, August 10, will see rivals Bridport, Swanage, Weymouth, Sidmouth and Exmouth compete.
A full program of races, including U14, U16, Masters, Super Vets, Vets and A, B and C teams for men and women is scheduled.
New talent will also be scouted with the intention of recruiting future world championship rowers.
Spectators can enjoy a bar, BBQ, raffles, and running commentary.
Races will run west from the Cob end along Monmouth Beach, ensuring great visibility.
