A team of ladies from Feniton Bowling Club (Sue Kury, Vanessa Murdoch, Joan Hoffman and Di Phillips) won the Pomeroy Trophy at Madeira.
In the over 60s men's triples league, the Hawks again lost narrowly away at Hemyock for the second week running, by a single shot of 32-33.
The winning rink was P Eels. A Murdoch and P Bright.
In a mixed friendly against Exonia, they lost on all rinks by 54-75.
However, in the match against Dorset Patrons, they lost by 80-95.
The winning rinks were T Cox. J Mackintosh and R Smith 17-8 and Z Flockhart and D Coyne 17-15.
