Feniton Bowling Club held its opening drive on Sunday, April 21.
As we braved the weather, president Les Lay was invited to put up the first wood of the season.
This was followed by the traditional spider competition, which was won by Roger Clarke.
The afternoon’s competition was won by D Coyne, L Ley, J Darkin and J Skinner.
The first match of the season was a friendly home against Seaton.
Feniton lost the match by 45 -74.
The winning rink was L Edwards, J Mackintosh, L Ley and A Smith 23-13.
If you are interested in playing bowls. you will receive a warm welcome at our club nights on a Friday evenings from 6pm at Feniton Bowling Club.
During the bowling season. coaches will be available to help new members,
