The Brian Selway invitational was played on Saturday at Honiton Golf Club and winning with 43 points were Matt Bond and Shane Brown, just one point behind were Darren McCaabe and Laurie Quinn.
Sixteen players played the September Tuesday Mixed drawn competition Centenary Goblets, and winning with a good score of 36 were Linda Blundell and Mick Swann, closely followed by Mike Delaney and Anne Jarvis.
Exeter Chiefs were welcomed at Honiton Golf Club by the club's president Paul Hill, stating that it was a privilege to host them. A selection of golf club members joined the Chiefs and a friendly team match took place between the clubs.
Honiton edged the match 4.5 – 2.5 before the Chiefs kindly presented the golf club with a rugby ball signed by the Rugby squad, which will be proudly displayed at the golf club. Thanks to Gareth Steenson and Exeter Rugby for making this happen.
