Honiton Town hero Jamie Dyer is about to embark on a sponsored ski to help raise funds for the club that means so much to him.
Jamie is up there as one of the biggest supporters of the Hippos and even puts together the club match reports for their website, a skill he will develop further when he begins a degree in sports journalism later this year.
Before embarking on his iniversity adventure, Jamie, who requires a wheelchair mobility, is bravely taking on the sponsored ski in a bid to help improve facilities for his beloved Honiton Town.
Jamie has set up a fundraising page called Honiton Town through the Go Fund Me site, which says: “To continue playing a part in the community, Honiton Town desperately need funds to improve facilities.
“They have been a massive part of my life also and I just want to give something back.”
