Honiton golfers were blessed with some warmer weather for the Tuesday Mixed competition, a Pairs Betterball stableford.
Liz and Ken Wood achieved a splendid 44 points, ahead of Linda Blundell and Paul Ritchie with 41 points. Paul also acted as a 'phantom' player with a second partner, Elizabeth Ward, and together they took third prize with 40 points.
The latest ladies competition was a medal format, including the Medal Trophy final. Any ladies who won a medal competition during 2022 were automatically eligible to be included in the Medal Trophy final.
With a nett score of 73, Sarah Loader was the winner of the Medal Trophy, also winning the Division 1 medal. Second place in Division 1 went to Georgie Hope-Edwards, followed by Jayne Jackson.
Lesley Farley was the runner-up in the Medal Trophy and she also won the Division 2 medal with a nett 74, followed by Cathy Williams, Chris Pearce and Joan Crook. The winner of the 9-hole stableford competition was Julie Smalley with 19 points, closely followed by Monica Scovell in second place with 18 points.
The April integrated Stableford was won by Mike Weeks with 34, beating Rob Hazeltine on countback and Paul Rutland 33.
