There was no game on the weekend for Honiton RFC first-team but the 2nds filled the void with an excellent 32-5 victory over Exeter Saracens 2nds.
Will Leonard picked up a long pass out wide to open the scoring for the Ton and this was followed by Joe Keep diving over the whitewash for a converted try after another superb pass.
The Ton continued to dominate in tricky conditions, Reuben Smith taking advantage of more space on the right wing before the Sarries got their only score with a bundled try to make it 19-5.
Honiton slotted a penalty to increase the lead at half-time and they continued to control possession after the break, with Dom Bernhardt scoring from a set scrum for 27-5.
As fatigue set in, the Honiton forwards began to overpower the Sarries and the final score came from Ben Small, diving over after a Phil Bennett assist.
