Millwey Rise Football Club has been given the boost of a new partnership deal with Vintage Trading Post, who have kindly agreed to sponsor the team kit for the Devon & Exeter League Club.
Vintage said: “From working at Manchester United to sponsoring Millwey Rise FC, It’s great we can support a local club and proud to have our Vintage Trading Post logo on the kit. Our shops are at Ottery St Mary and on the A358 at Tytherleigh. They are open every day of the week with over 50 traders in each.”
On a weekend that saw the local sporting schedule decimated by Storm Eunice, we also take a trip back in time to enjoy these pictures of Millwey Rise in their inaugural season 1958-59, when they topped the league and claimed all the trophies that went with it.
Happy days for the club and hopefully more to come in the future.
