An excellent weekend for 'Rise' ended with a tally of nine goals for and one against.
Millwey Rise first-team got things started with a 5-1 defeat at Colyton 2nds, defying a strong wind to produce some excellent football.
After five minutes, a through ball from Zak Meaker found Luke Thurlow who made no mistake with his clinical finish. Shortly after this Thurlow added to his tally with a second goal for 'Rise'.
Joe Osborne added the third and an own goal made it four at the break. Youngster Owen Enticott also notched his first goal for the club in the second period.
For Millwey, Luke Thurlow took the MoM award for his goals and overall effort to add to them. Youngsters Ben Webb, Joey Osborne, Owen Enticott and Theo Souttar-Stone also performed superbly.
In Division 8, Millwey Rise 2nds beat Newton St Cyres 2nds 4-0.
