Axminster Town U13s have thanked their sponsors, Castle Tyres, following their excellent 4-1 win over Ilchester Spartans, which keeps them top of the league.
The deadlock was broken when Theo Dibling put in a dangerous cross for Fin Lampey to attack the ball and nip in front of the defender to poke home the opener.
The Tigers second goal was of real quality, George Manning won the ball back, playing it into Alex Dixon, whose superb reverse through ball perfectly found Flynn Hartford and he unleashed a stunning drive into the top corner.
After the break, Dibling got his deserved goal after rounding the ‘keeper to slot home into an empty net. Hartford then grabbed his second of the game from close range.
Man of the match was Issac Poole, who showed great determination, composure and pace to see off any attacks, and with real quality going forward too.
