A renowned pianist will be playing a matinee concert in Axminster.
Critically acclaimed composer Stephen Beville will be performing at The Minster in Axminster on December 15.
The concert, part of the Start the Clock series, will commence at 3pm.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at £12 each from Archway Bookshop, Trinity Square, or via Eventbrite.
The concert, titled 'A Christmas Matinee Recital', promises a selection of musical works.
Mr Beville explained: "Although none of the musical works I will be performing were perhaps conceived with Christmas as their primary inspiration, I have selected them for their positive and often joyous character, moods, and relevance to the festive season.
"I hope this programme will provide a musical feast (mince pies and mulled wine will be available in the interval) with funds proceeding towards the repair of the Church Clock, and an enjoyable afternoon out."
Mr Beville is a professional pianist and composer who studied at the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, Germany.
He has performed both at home and abroad and his CD releases for Divine Art Recordings will be on sale at the concert.
His performances have been praised by music critics.
Classical Journey said: "Stephen Beville creates a dazzling impression every time he plays.
"His performances are full of thrilling showmanship delivered with impressive skill."
Audiophile Audition has described him as "a poet" while Fanfare Magazine said his is "certainly a career to keep one's ears open for."
