A bungalow in Bovemoors Lane in Exeter has been 'completely destroyed' following a fire overnight.
Fire crews were first called to the property at around 9.30pm on Tuesday (November 26) and fire crews only had the fire under control at 8.16am on Wednesday.
Police and Fire investigators are now looking into what caused the fire.
Control initially mobilised two fire appliances from Danes Castle and Middlemoor alongside a supporting officer.
Due to the number of calls control received, control mobilised a 3rd appliance from Danes Castle.
Once crews were in attendance, a 4th appliance was requested for extra personnel. This was mobilised from Middlemoor.
Crews confirmed 1 bungalow was well alight and crews were at work extinguishing the fire using 2 main jets and 2 hose reel jets and had a water shuttle in place.
At 8.16am on Wednesday, final details were: "Crews confirmed one bungalow was completely destroyed by fire.
"In total, 3 main jets, 2 hose reel jets, 1 thermal imaging camera and 1 triple extension ladder was used. Fire also partially spread to roof space of the neighbouring property.
"Currently the cause of the fire is unknown and will be determined following a joint investigation carried out by Police and Fire investigators."
