A Devon based wellness author has just successfully published a book and hosted her first book launch event at the Hideaway in Seaton last week.
Her friends, family and clients alike, braved the cold and battled Storm Bert to show up and join Gemma Norris in celebrating her “greatest achievement” - writing her new book “Love2Heal”.
“Something I and many others don’t really do often – take a moment of space to honour what we have achieved,” Gemma Norris said. “Certainly, a belief system to work through, as this only creates an emptiness that never feels filled. This probably is one of the sources of poor mental wellbeing we are seeing - the mirage of perceived success.”
During the launch event Gemma walked us through why she began writing the book in the first place.
Her main motivation was to empower others in taking their health into their hands and how holding unconditional love and learning self-acceptance can heals us – according to Gemma’s own personal experiences.
“The book was to bring Science to what I see on a regular basis in the clinic,” she added.
The event culminated in a guided meditation to help everyone find the healing inner love that is explored in “Love2Heal”.
“It was quite emotional and beautiful. When you personally witness for yourself and in others, as they realise this love within them, shattering the old beliefs of not being worthy enough,” Gemma shared emotionally. “I feel this is my work here on this planet, to remind people of what they are within.”
