A historic Devon watermill is set to reopen with a newly renovated waterwheel.
The National Trust is inviting visitors to the working Manor Mill in Branscombe on December 1 to celebrate the completion of the project.
Open from 1pm to 4pm, visitors can see the mill in action for the last time until spring, with the cogs and wheels operating smoothly thanks to the expert craftsmanship of the millwrights.
Free hot drinks and mince pies will be offered as part of the festivities.
The 110-year-old waterwheel, a crucial part of the mill's operation for over 300 years, was meticulously restored over three weeks.
Every spoke, sole board, and bucket was replaced with new, durable oak, each cut to size.
This restoration marks a significant moment in preserving the mill's legacy, ensuring it continues to play a part in village life for years to come.
