A tea room is offering free meals to the community on Christmas Day.
Merchant's Tea Room, based in Colyton, is opening its doors from midday to 5pm, providing free turkey rolls with roast potatoes, unlimited gravy, and a choice of Christmas pudding or apple crumble.
The tea room, run by owner Tammy Gasson, is welcoming everyone, whether they celebrate Christmas or not, aiming to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere on December 25.
A spokesperson for the tea room said: "We know Christmas can be a lonely time for some and an overwhelming time for others, so we’re opening up the tea room for the big day.
"Our casa is your casa!
"Whether you want to join us for lunch, pop in for a cup of coffee whilst your turkey’s cooking or just escape the house for a bit, our family will be in the tea room playing games, feasting on mince pies, and drinking hot chocolates piled high with marshmallows and cream."
While the meal is free of charge, donations for the Devon Air Ambulance are welcome.
Walk-ins are welcome, but the tea room requests those interested to contact them to help gauge how much food to prepare.
