Seaton is set to start the festive season with a new Christmas lights event this year.
Seaton's Festive Illumination, curated by Seaton Chamber, is set to take place on Saturday, November 30, from 4pm to 7pm, in Seaton's old town centre.
The event is set to feature live music, a pop-up pub, and a climbing wall.
The MOJO Stone Cold Players and Seaton Acapella are set to provide live music throughout the afternoon.
The scouts will be operating a climbing wall for those who want to see the lights from higher up.
The Old Picture House will be serving a hog roast, while The Salty Arms pop-up pub will have hot chocolates and mulled cider.
Independent shops across the town, which has no chain stores, will stay open until 7pm, offering a chance to browse for gifts and get to know shopkeepers.
There will also be a chance to meet Pet Santa at Animal Botanical and buy your 2024 Christmas jumper at the library.
Seaton Chamber will invite a "local legend" to turn on the lights.
The event will also see the presentation of the inaugural Glowing Angel Award, recognising an individual who has had a positive impact on the town.
From 9.30am to 3.30pm, the third Seaton Chamber independent market will be open at Windsor Gardens, featuring more than 20 traders.
There will also be a craft fair taking place at The Gateway from 10am to 4pm.
Seaton's mayor, Councillor Amrik Singh, said: "Another great example of how our wonderful community works together for the benefit of the town.
"The Town Council is pleased to be able to fund the lighting up of the town for another year and hopes that all residents will enjoy Seaton’s Festive Illumination."
The council has also arranged for two large Christmas trees to be placed in The Square and Windsor Gardens.
The road will be closed on Fore Street from 12pm to 8pm, but parking is available in surrounding car parks and on the street.
