A head of governors has stepped down after 23 years of service.
Littletown Primary Academy in Honiton bid farewell to the long-serving chair of governors, Tina Sillitoe, during a special assembly.
The school expressed its gratitude for her dedication on October 14.
Mrs Sillitoe decided to step down following an excellent Ofsted inspection in June 2024.
During her time, approximately 9,200 children passed through the school's doors.
Principal Mr Perkins highlighted the significance of Mrs Sillitoe's community service.
Mrs Sillitoe received flowers and a gift, followed by pupils singing songs for her.
She remarked that her favourite aspect of the role was attending school performances and special assemblies.
Mr Perkins assured her that she would always be invited to such events in the future.
Everyone at Littletown Primary Academy extended their heartfelt thanks and appreciation for her contribution to the school.
