Axminster Guildhall is set to host a show about the notorious gangsters, the Kray twins.

The event, titled Ronnie, Reggie and Me with Fred Dinenage, delves into the lives of the infamous gangsters.

Fred Dinenage, a TV legend chosen by the twins to be their official biographer, offers an unparalleled look at their lives.

For years, the Krays were feared as the ultimate crime lords in London's underworld.

Their reign ended in 1969 when both Ronnie and Reggie Kray were given life sentences.

Ronnie became a patient at Broadmoor, with his insanity controlled by drugs.

Reggie served decades in some of the country's toughest prisons.

Mr Dinenage was granted access to their inner circle, gaining insights that no other journalist could.

One of the highlights of the show will be a recording discovered by Mr Dinenage of Ron Kray's voice, delivering a chilling warning to children today who may be attracted to a life of crime.

In the recording, Ron Kray said: "Many people who have read our books may think we’ve had a glamorous life, but I advise any young people today not to get into any trouble because it will only bring them a life of misery."

The show will take place at Axminster Guildhall on Sunday, November 24.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online or at the box office.
