Honiton Carers enjoyed a sunny day at Seaton Wetlands for their Walk & Chat event.
The event was held on Wednesday, September 18, and was guided by Penny Evans, an education ranger at the Countryside Team, East Devon District Council.
Honiton Carers expressed their gratitude for the fine weather on the day of the event.
Honiton Carers chair, Winnie Cameron, said: "Penny gave us a wonderful guided tour around the wetlands.
"Her talk is really inspirational, very animated and full of fun.
"In total, a very enjoyable afternoon with a lovely walk, excellent peer support, beautiful warm sunshine, a superb guide, and of course the compulsory cuppa and cake.
"The afternoon was definitely very much enjoyed by everyone."
Looking ahead, Honiton Carers are already anticipating their next Walk & Chat event, scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, at Spring Water Farm on the Killerton Estate.
This event is organised by the Connecting People and Landscapes in a Changing Climate project.
Hannah from CPL presented information about upcoming events at the last carers' meeting on September 11.
