Devon church transformed into 'mini Chelsea Flower Show'

The event, which took place on September 14 and 15, was named The Colours of Cotleigh.

Under the guidance of Cotleigh florist Sarah Broom and her team, the church was decorated with displays including a hidden secret garden and poppies in the tower.

The displays were created under the guidance of Cotleigh florist, Sarah Broom Visitors were treated to a banquet of lunches, cakes, and ice creams in the village hall, and workshops were available for those wanting to learn new skills.

A children's tent, where foil fish were a firm favourite, kept younger visitors entertained.

The event was described as an "extravaganza", with visitors expressing their amazement and admiration.
