Pecorama is hosting its annual Loco Week.

The event, which is a must-visit for anyone interested in miniature railways and locomotives, is running from August 20 to Sunday, August 25.

Passenger trains will start on the Beer Heights Light Railway at 10.30am every day, and freight trains will be running from 11am.

There will be 11 visiting engines at the event, and chief engineer Callum Darraugh said that the week is a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase the world of steam.

He said: "We are thrilled to welcome visitors and share our passion for these amazing machines."

There will also be tours of the workshops and sheds on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 11.30am, 1.30pm, and 2.45pm.

Demonstration trains will be operating on Wednesday and Friday.

The weather in Beer this week is expected to be mostly sunny, so a great time to visit Pecorama with stunning views of the Jurassic Coast.

Parking is available on-site, including accessible parking bays located in the upper car park and on the lower level next to The Model Railway Shop and exhibition entrance for Blue Badge holders.

Pecorama, located in the picturesque village of Beer, Devon, is renowned for its beautiful gardens, scenic railway, and extensive model railway exhibition.

Loco Week is the perfect opportunity to explore all that Pecorama has to offer, with special events and activities designed to delight visitors of all ages.
