It has been a successful year for A-Level students at Colyton Grammar School with students achieving more than twice the percentage of A* and A grades achieved nationally. 

Colyton Grammar School is twice the national average for A* and A grades with 64.5% of grades awarded were at A* or A, 12 students achieving four A*s, 12 students achieved three A*s , 70% of applicants gained a place at a Sutton Trust Top 30 university, 19 have offers to Oxbridge and one has an offer to Harvard.

Among those achieving the top grades are 12 with four A*s and another 12 with three A*s. 

In all, 19 students have offers from Oxbridge, one is set to study at Harvard in the USA and a further number to attend Russell Group universities. 

The range of subjects students will study is broad – 10 are to study medicine and five law, while others are going on to study subjects such as drama, animation and fashion marketing as well as more traditional subjects.
