Hundreds of motorcyclists descended on Seaton seafront for the annual Seaton Bikers Day Out on Sunday (July 28).
The event was organised by a small group of local bikers assisted by volunteer marshals. It attracts bikers from all over the South West, from Cornwall to Bristol.
Organiser Peter Thomas said: "The weather was excellent, perfect biking weather and, even before the official opening time, bikes started pouring in, making a donation on arrival.
As the morning wore on, the stream of bikes increased until lunchtime the road was completely filled with motorcycles from 50cc to 2500cc, from choppers to race replicas and from every era.
Mr Thomas added: "The atmosphere was sensational with hundreds of happy bikers meeting and greeting friends old and new. As well as the bikers, the general public were thrilled by the awesome spectacle of so many wonderful machines.
"Coupled with the Natural Seaton Festival and the Seaton Carnival Street Fair which were also taking place on the same day, the town was really buzzing and each of the three events benefitted the other."
By the time all the bikes had left and the road had re-opened, £2500 had been collected for the Devon Air Ambulance.
