Comedian, presenter and actor, Lloyd Griffith, will be performing at Lyme Regis as part of his brand-new UK tour.

The 45-date tour, titled ‘Baroque and Roll’ will take place from 27th July to 22nd November 2024.

Fans of the comic will have the opportunity to see him in Dorset when he performs his new stand-up show at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis on Thursday 17th October.

A regular on TV, Griffith is set to star in BBC One’s new Return To Paradise series, an Australian spin-off of Death In Paradise.

The comedian, born in Grimsby, has also appeared on popular shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats, Pointless Celebrities, Roast Battle, Rob Beckett's Undeniable, Live at The Comedy Store and Richard Osman’s House of Games to name a few.

The 40-year-old co-hosted Soccer AM for 2 years alongside John Fendley and Jimmy Bullard and he also appeared in Emmy Award winning series Ted Lasso, for which he was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award Honours for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Griffith has starred in other shows like Nolly, Bad Education Everyone Else Burns, It’s a Sin, Not Going Out and Mark Wahlberg’s feature film Infinite, while also fronting his own critically acclaimed BBC documentary Can You Beat The Bookies.

On the live comedy circuit, he has previously performed at iconic venues including the Liverpool Echo, Newcastle Metro, London O2 and Wembley Arena, taking four of his solo tours nationwide, with most being extended due to high demand.

His new stand-up show, ‘Baroque and Roll’, will deal with his impending midlife crisis - or ‘renaissance’ as he’s insisting it’s called; complete with body hair removal, head hair additions, teeth whitening and obviously the obligatory half marathon sign up.

Described by the Sunday Post as “an hour of uplifting stand-up that’ll have you smiling for days”, tickets to see Griffith’s new show at Lyme Regis, this October, are on sale now.
