Celebrations are in order for the Children's Hospice South West fundraising team in Honiton.
The team completed a successful first year of monthly coffee mornings and a celebratory coffee morning is set for August 9.
Volunteer Tina Lunt said: "Over that year, thanks to the very generous support of the people of Honiton, we have raised £1,179 towards the work of the children's hospice, which is amazing.
"We would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far."
The volunteers are fundraising for Little Bridge House, a children's hospice located on the outskirts of Barnstaple.
It offers a comfortable home-from-home for families of children with life-limiting conditions, where up to eight families can stay at any given time.
The hospice offers short breaks for families to charge their batteries for their ongoing challenges.
It boasts an atmosphere full of fun, imaginative games and recreational activities, and even a Narnia-themed garden.
To mark their first anniversary, everyone is invited to the coffee morning from 10am until 12am at the Family Church, Honiton on August 9.
Along with the usual festivities, fundraiser Debbie Birtwisle will showcase the work of the hospice.
Special highlights include a birthday cake contributed by James' Patisserie, a quiz, a raffle and a lot of balloons!
Since 1991 Children's Hospice South West has been dedicated to making the most of short and precious lives through the provision of first-class hospice care for life-limited children and their families across the South West of England.
Her Majesty, The Queen (formerly HRH The Duchess of Cornwall) is the Royal Patron of the Charity.
