Year 3 Seaton Primary School student Poppy Greenacre, 8, has read an impressive 100 books for The Secret Book Quest and collected her gold certificate from Seaton Library.

A spokesman for Seaton Library said: "This is a fantastic achievement with Poppy showing an incredible enthusiasm and love of reading. She started her challenge in September and will continue to get to the next milestone of 150 books.

"The Secret Book Quest is a brilliant way to encourage and promote reading. Filling in their booklet to keep track of what they have read and collecting stickers along the way with an initial target of 50 books."

Libraries Unlimited Devon, who run the libraries in the county have the Summer Reading Challenge where you have to read six books over the summer to win a certificate, medal, prize and enter into a prize draw .
