Chardstock Eco Group is a finalist for BBC Radio Devon's Make a Difference Awards 2024 Green category.
Nominated by Devon Wildlife Trust, the group is one among four finalists in the category for the award.
BBC Radio Devon has encouraged open conversation about the nomination.
The final judging is to be held at the end of September.
Vicky Whitworth, chair of the Chardstock Eco Group, said: "This achievement is down to all of you - and the many, many other people who do so much great environmental work under the banner of Chardstock Eco Group."
