Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Bowhay Lane, Exeter.
The collision happened on Friday (July 19), involving a 10-year-old boy and a black Ford Mondeo being driven by a local male.
As a result of the collision the boy suffered serious injuries and was taken initially to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and then onto Bristol Children’s Hospital where he is currently being treated. The driver of the Mondeo and his front seat passenger were uninjured.
