Fire crews fight a small toilet block fire in Axminster after someone deliberately sets fire to some loo roll.
A crew from Axminster and Colyton were called at around 7pm on Monday (July 15) following reports of a small fire in West Street toilets.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "We were mobilised to the Public Toilets on West Street with reports of them on fire. Once in attendance our crews got to work to investigate using a thermal imaging camera.
Crews were met with smouldering toilet roll within the toilets. This fire was believed to be a deliberate fire and The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall were informed.
Fortunately, the fire caused a limited amount of damage and crews made the area safe and returned shortly after.
