The new Otter Lodge retirement living development in Honiton welcomed the public for a Meet the Lodge manager event.

Developed by Churchill Living, the gathering, held on July 12, allowed visitors to meet the Lodge manager, Tina Knight, and the rest of the Churchill sales team.

It provided an insight into the lifestyle that comes with independent, low-maintenance living at the development.

The Lodge offers a mix of new one and two-bedroom apartments, granting future owners the chance to experience the facilities first-hand.

Ms Knight said: "I really enjoyed meeting everyone at the event and I’ve been having a great time getting to know my new Owners.

"The apartments here are lovely and the location is superb, I’ve been helping people find the best routes to all the nice shops and cafes which are such a short walk away."

The Lodge, situated on Silver Street just off Honiton’s high street, comprises 57 purpose-built apartments.

The homes combine spacious rooms with thoughtful design, specifically to cater for people over the age of 60.

The fully fitted kitchens include a built-in fridge and freezer, along with a hob and oven at an easy-reach height, ensuring comfortable usage for residents.

For added safety, a video entry system and a 24-hour emergency call system have been installed.

Jo Ridehalgh, senior marketing executive for Churchill Living, said: "This event was a perfect opportunity for interested purchasers to meet Tina and our friendly team at Otter Lodge and see for themselves the beautiful new apartments and the lifestyle on offer."

The development aims to offer peace of mind and independent living for its owners and has already garnered considerable interest from over 60s in the area who wish to live near local amenities and become part of a new community.

The team is ready and willing to provide further details on this retirement living opportunity.
