The hit musical comedy Sister Act is set to stage in Honiton this summer.
The show, held at The Beehive Honiton, is brought by an acclaimed local theatre company, the Honiton Community Theatre Company and promises laughter, love, and an infectious groove.
Some films are timeless, and this is one of them, and if you like the movie you'll love the live musical, the production team promises.
They are no strangers to staging fantastic shows, even earning a nomination for a prestigious NODA award.
Sister Act tells the tale of disco-diva Deloris Van Cartier who, after witnessing a crime, finds herself hiding in the most unlikely place - a convent.
Disguised as a nun, Deloris stirs up the once dull choir with her soulful rhythm and contagious energy, whilst clashing with the strict Mother Superior.
The performance is abundant with irresistible tunes, hilarious antics, and a heartening message of redemption, ensuring that Sister Act will uplift and inspire audiences.
The production features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater and the book by Cheri Steinkellner & Bill Steinkellner with additional material by Douglas Carter Beane.
The amateur rendition is presented in arrangement with Music Theatre International, based on the Touchstone Pictures Motion Picture.
Tickets are priced at £16 for adults and £12.50 for those under 16, including a £1 booking fee.
Those in need of accessible seating can contact the box office on 01404 384050, or in person.
The bar will be available, opening 1 hour before each performance.
Make sure you don't miss out on supporting remarkable talent and an unforgettable musical experience.
