The team at Summerleaze Equine Vets is an independent equine only Vet practice, based in Axminster.

The veterinary in Axminster are attempting the Three Peaks Challenge in September. On September 6, they fly to Glasgow ready to start at the foot of Ben Nevis the following morning. The challenge is raising money for three charities each.

Stuart is raising money for Munchkins miniature Shetland rescue; a local charity based in Colyton which rescues and rehabilitates ponies often from cruel or neglectful situations.

The second is Edukid, an international charity who aim to pull children out of chronic poverty all over the world through education.

Bryony is raising money for a  charity very close to her family's heart. “Young lives vs Cancer” provides essential support to families facing the unimaginable hardships of a cancer diagnosis. They offer financial assistance, physical and emotional support, and work tirelessly to raise awareness about the struggles that cancer patients and their families endure.

Emelie is fundraising  for Biffs Battle which was set up following the devastating loss of a family friends child to a rare childhood cancer.  Biffs Battle not only help to raise awareness but they also offer financial support to other local families who are dealing with childhood cancer.

The challenge is to climb The highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24hours including driving between the mountains.

Its roughly 27 miles of walking and 9,800ft elevation.

We are funding the transport etc ourselves so all the money we manage to raise will go to our charities.
