A who was seriously injured in a car accident in Honiton last month has died.
The accident happened on Friday, June 21. Emergency services were called at around 7.30pm to Sidmouth Road where it was reported that a single-vehicle collision involving a silver Vauxhall Meriva had taken place.
The two passengers, a man and a woman both in their 80s and from the local area, were taken to hospital having sustained serious injuries. Sadly, the man has since passed away. The woman’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene, and police enquiries are continuing. Anyone with any relevant information or dash-cam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police via their website or by calling 101 quoting log 789 of 21 June.
