Thirty motorcyclists travelled from Bath to Lyme Regis to donate £400 for the RNLI lifeboat volunteers.
Members of Bath Classic Motor Cycle Club, who drove 70 miles, were gratefully received by lifeboat crew members at the station slipway.
The generous sum was supplied by the club's treasurer, Don Adams, who presented the RNLI with the cheque.
Mr Adams said: "We admire the lifeboat volunteers, and felt we would enjoy a Sunday ride to Lyme Regis to make our donation and meet some of the lifeboat crew."
Volunteers of the RNLI have been saving lives at sea since 1824.
More than 146,000 lives at sea have been saved since the charity launched its first lifeboat.
