MIRACLE Theatre’s latest outdoor production, Love Riot, will be performed at Goren Farm in Stockland on Friday June 28.
In this vibrant reimagining of Hannah Cowley’s classic play, The Belle’s Stratagem, audiences will be transported to a world of scandal, matchmaking, and unexpected twists.
Audiences can expect a whirlwind of romance and comedy as they follow Letty, whose father has arranged for her to be married to a man who shows no interest in her.
But she is a spirited young woman, determined to defy society’s expectations, shape her own destiny, and avoid a loveless future.
Located on the outskirts of Honiton, Goren Farm is a beautiful venue with over 70 acres of ancient wildflower meadows, orchards, traditional farm buildings, informal gardens, greenhouses, and a walled garden.
As you enjoy the show, enjoy some Goren cider and apple juice, available for purchase before the performance and during the interval.
Miracle Theatre, Cornwall’s longest-running and most prolific touring theatre company, is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. Founded in 1979, Miracle Theatre has toured 75 times, establishing itself as one of the South West's most distinctive voices in the performing arts.
With Miracle Theatre’s signature wit and charm, this uproarious comedy promises an unforgettable evening of laughter and entertainment for audiences of all ages.
