A large fire has broken out at an agricultural barn in Broadclyst this morning (June 2).
Two crews from Exeter, Middlemoor and Danes Castle Fire Station were called at around 5am on Sunday, after a call from a a farmer reporting a fire in a barn.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue say this 'incident is currently ongoing, as from 9 am on Sunday.
Western Power have been in attendance at the incident to isolate the electricity supply to the barn, however they have now left scene.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "While en route to the incident crews spotted a large plume of smoke in the distance and immediately 'made pumps 4' for additional personnel and water.
"Once in attendance crews confirmed one barn approximately 40x30 metres well alight and were at work using one 51mm attack jet and two Hose Reel Jets."
