POLICE implemented a one-way system on the A358 between Chard and Axminster this morning as part of an ongoing investigation.
The temporary traffic disruption was caused by Devon and Cornwall Police's Serious Collisions Investigation Team.
Officers were carrying out scene surveying work on the A-road between 7am and 9am on Saturday, April 27.
Ahead of the work, police advised that motorists should expect disruption on the A358 during the temporary two-hour investigation work.
On Friday, April 26, a spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: “Motorists can expect some temporary traffic disruption on the A358 between Chard and Axminster between 7am and 9am on Saturday, April 27.
“A one-way system will be in place for our Serious Collisions Investigation Team to carry out scene surveying work as part of an ongoing investigation.
“We are asking drivers in the area to exercise caution and consider an alternative route between these times.”
