A skilled cabinet maker based in Dunkeswell is offering the chance for a newcomer to take over his workshop and continue the tradition of fine woodworking.
David Lloyd is retiring after 28 years of craftsmanship and wants to find a successor who is 'passionate' about woodworking to follow in his footsteps.
For a relatively small investment, to be negotiated, he is offering the opportunity to take on the fully functioning workshop with all its machinery, tooling and stock.
He said: "It's an opportunity I wish I'd had when I started - it took me months to get everything I needed."
Now that he's retiring, he's hoping to give a budding craftsperson a leg-up on their journey in business.
Having originally taken on the workshop after seeing it advertised in the Midweek Herald, he's using the same paper to make his offer to a potential successor.
He would like to hear from any young or aspiring artisans to discuss the 'unparalleled' opportunity he is offering.
