A historic pub in Kilmington has been put up for sale with a guide price of £500,000.
The Old Inn is a Grade II listed thatched building, thought to date back to the 16th century.
It closed at the end of August this year and is now being marketed by Stonesmith business property agents.
The description of The Old Inn on their website reads: “This charming destination country pub was renowned for its ambience, retaining much of the original charm and character, including exposed ceiling timbers and feature fireplaces.”
It lists the pub’s facilities including two bars and a restaurant, skittle alley, large beer garden, customer parking and owners’ accommodation.
It adds: “The Old Inn is a highly regarded and well presented destination country inn and a viewing is strongly recommended to fully appreciate the quality and standards inherent throughout this impressive business and property and the undoubted potential it offers new owners.”
