Colyton Grammar School students have excelled in their A-level results.
Their performance was even better than the class of 2019, with 65.5 per cent achieving grades A or A* - the national average is 27.2 per cent.
So far 95 per cent of students have gained a place at their first choice or back-up choice of university, with 14 per cent heading for Oxbridge.
Four students achieved five A*s, seven students four A*s and a further 15 three A*s. In all, 40 per cent of the students obtained three A*/A grades.
Headteacher Tim Harris said: “The news today is that students and colleagues have worked hard to create the results we have seen.
"Bearing in mind that the last normal school year for Year 13 was Year 9, our students have done amazingly well. We are proud of them all as they all go on to the destinations of their dreams.”
