The A35 at Gammons Hill near Axminster is partially blocked this afternoon following a two-car collision.
The accident was reported at around 4pm on Friday, June 16 on the Devon and Cornwall Police Traffic Watch website.
It says there is very slow traffic around the area and two cars are involved in the incident near the Texaco station. Police are directing traffic.
There are delays of six minutes and delays increasing on A35 Eastbound between Old Taunton Road and B3261. The average speed is ten mph.
There are severe delays of 15 minutes and delays increasing on A35 Westbound between B3261 and Studhayes Road.
Traffic around the area including Axminster town centre and traffic approaching Chard and Taunton is also affected.
Devon and Cornwall Police have been contacted for comment. There will be more updates on the Midweek Herald website throughout the afternoon.
