Honiton Carers very much enjoyed another 'Connecting You Walk & Chat' last weekend.
This time, the group went to Salisbury Cathedral by train on Saturday, April 1.
Members walked from Salisbury Station to the Cathedral where they were welcomed by Head Guide Angela Ford who gave them a 20 minute introductory talk, which was followed by a good look around the Cathedral enjoying the amazing workmanship.
They also visited the historic Magna Carta which is one of the only four original copies made.
Winnie Cameron, organiser of Honiton Carers said: "We could easily have stayed there all day however, we also wanted to fit in a walk through the Water Meadows, a bit of lunch and a visit to the highly recommended Fisherton Mill all very much enjoyed including their wonderful home-made cakes.
"If you are an unpaid carer and would like to know more about our support group please get in touch with Win on winniekjaer@btinternet.com or phone 07974 636926."
