The annual Colyford Christmas Party took place last Saturday in the Colyford Village Memorial Hall.
A traditional annual party funded by the Colyford Medieval Goose Fayre held in September. 25 Local children sat down to a Christmas tea laid out and served by Mrs Caroline Spencer and a team of young Mums as helpers.
The party included a talk on the 3000 history of Colyton and children accompanied by mums and dads were entertained by RattleBox Theatre with Tales of Christmas from many lands. To finish the party after Pass the Parcel Father Christmas came calling with a sack of presents one for each child. The organisers are very grateful to Seaton Lions for arranging for Father Chistmas to call in spite of his busy programme in the district.
