A pensioner from Colyford has denied abusing five different boys over a period of more than 30 years.
Adrian Carpenter, aged 74, of Elm Farm Lane, Colyford, pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of indecent or sexual assault, indecency with a child or inciting a child to take part in sexual activity.
All but two of the allegations relate to dates between 1986 and 1991, when he is accused of offences against four boys aged seven to 11 in Cornwall.
The other two offences relate to alleged offences against a boy aged ten to 11 in 2018.
Judge Timothy Rose adjourned the case at Exeter Crown Court for a jury trial on October 9 next year.
