A beauty salon in Axminster is a finalist for the UK Hair and Beauty awards. Total Transformations on Lyme Street Axminister has been nominated as a 2023 finalist for the Best New Salon category at the UK Hair and Beauty award ceremony. Total Transformation Aesthetics in Axminster is a local independent beauty and transformation salon offering a wide range of aesthetics and beauty treatment ranging from antiwrinkle treatments and thread facelifts to pedicures and waxing for the people of Axminster.
Total Transformations have also launched a new training programme for residents in the town to get into the aesthetic industry. An online course which allows you to train and study to obtain your industry recognized IPHM Accredited qualification. Anyone in the town or surrounding areas can apply to start this course with Total Transformations.
Owner Terri Bowell told the Herald: “I’m so excited and thankful to have been nominated for the award. This is my first applying for the awards and I’m very excited to walk the red carpet in April 2023 with Jake Quickenden and Duncan James as star guests.
“I opened the clinic in February 2020 and have a combined 20-year experience in the hair, beauty and aesthetics industry.”
The UK Hair and Beauty Awards celebrate the hair and beauty industry in an aim to support businesses both large and small and expose all candidates to new opportunities via social media, businesses complete nationally and regionally before heading to the national Grand Final red-carpet event. The exclusive red-carpet event will take place over two nights, Friday April 21 and Saturday April 22, starting at 3.30pm until late. The event will be held in Birmingham with finalists indulging in a three-course meal before the prize giving ceremony takes place.
